Hola Mama! I’m doing much better, this past week was better.

Easter was pretty good, nothing too crazy just the missionary life. As for
conference, well I wrote about it in my journal but unfortunately forgot my
camera today with my pictures......I’m sorry!
Saturday morning around 11 we got a message from our DL
saying that we could go to all sessions of General Conference. Unfortunately, it takes close to an
hour to get to the stake center so we missed all of the first session but got to
watch the second and Priesthood session. Then on Sunday we watched the morning
session but had to go back to our casa for lunch and weren’t able to go back
for the second session. I got to listen to the second session on Saturday in English
and then all the others were in Spanish, which was a bit difficult but still
good for me to learn Spanish better. It was all really good but I really liked
the second session on Saturday a lot! maybe because it was in English but still
I just loved the messages!
Thank you for those quotes and your thoughts about them! I
loved them! Also yes we got to watch Coco last week. It was a really good movie!
After we were done watching it, we had a discussion about how we can relate the
messages in it to the gospel and what not. Then after that they gave me the
package you sent! Thank you so much!!!! I love everything you sent me!!! You
guys are the best! I had stuff to snack on during conference and enough candy
to last through the end of the world! :) Elder Rojas loves the jerky! I gave him 2 of the packages and he downed them so
fast! well in separate days, but he asked me to ask you to send 20 more
packages of it haha. Holy snot Shawn goes home this week!!!!
As for investigators no, no new ones lately. We did receive
a couple references that we have been trying to get a hold of to visit but we
just need to keep trying with them. With Anaid we haven’t heard from her but we
are pretty sure she is back home, we just need to call her or go by her house to
see what’s up.
The weather here is like I’m in Utah. It’s cold at night and
freaking hot during the day. It’s actually crazy mom, I’ve been really hot at
night. I used to sleep with my sheet and 4 blankets covering me. Now I just
sleep with the sheet! I don’t know what’s happening to me... I really think it’s
the sun, my skin is getting darker… well compared to me before haha.
